The Grey Tower

Hi!

Now that Dax has gone and gotten himself raised, I'd like to get some (more) points in Unarmed, Sword, and Daggers. (Edit to add: Other weapons would be cool, too. I know what his preferred weapons are, but he's not one to turn down the opportunity to learn new things!)

I'd prefer to do it in a more natural environment (i.e. an actual fight, either against each other or against a mutual opponent) as opposed to an arranged spar. That said, Dax does actually enjoy teaching and he's good at it, so we can explore that option as well.

Dax is more the sort to pick a fight than to have one land on him, but he's growing up so if he does pick a fight it will be for good reason.

Any takers?

You should consider sending him to join a border patrol. The current one is almost concluded but if you want to send him to Heeth Tower and post tonight or tomorrow morning before I put up the next prompt tomorrow night, he's welcome to join us in a fight against a double fistful of Trollocs!

To clarify- do you want me to pretend he's been there the whole time, or have him actually sent to Heeth Tower after his raising?

Riahana is always available for swords and if you ever wanted to get the basics of archery down, she could help there, too.

I'm sure we could find some kind of trouble for the pair to seek out.

He can have intended to go and just join the mission by being sent to Heeth Tower. If you want. The Patrol can be timelined to fall a week or so after he completes his raising.

Roan- Sword sounds fun. You have four points and I have 3, so we could certainly find some "Beyond the basics" thing to do with that.

You don't have points in archery...did you mean learn together?

Ah the points are listed for Bow...Riahana is an expert archer. She enjoys showing people the ways of the ranged weapon madness.

Otherwise, I bet we could come up with a mini mission for Ria and Dax...or an errand they have to run that goes sideways...
