The Grey Tower

Okay, so Mehrin is new in Hama Valon and knows nobody. While it is tempting to just throw him into the yard to try to beat people up, that doesn't do much to establish his character and his place in the Tower. I've got a couple vague notions of impressions of potential ideas:
-A day in the forge
-An afternoon exploring the Gardens
-An evening at the tavern

This is where you come in. I'm looking for people who would be interested in engaging in some sort of social setting with a sixty-year-old fighter-turned-blacksmith-turned-back-to-fighter who has a psychotic personality floating around his skull.

Valadin's up for it. Don't much care which setting.

How about meeting in the Garden? Mehrin has never met a male channeler before, and his time at the White Tower would have made him incredibly paranoid about the subject. I kind of need to break some ground with that; old dog, new tricks, that sort of thing.

For what it is worth, I'm always up for RP if you care to have him meet the Gaidar Captain.

Or. . .you could always meet one of the GC's children. . .namely, Tia, the daughter (who will eventually become a secondary character if I can decide whether she'll be a channeler or not...)
