The Grey Tower

Hi gang,

I'm looking for a couple of people to write Liam with on a fairly consistent basis. I will warn up from that my writing tends to be confined to certain days of the week due to work. However, I would let you know if my activity is going to drop. Anyway, what I'm looking for are:

- One fellow Drin or Ji: I'm open to developing either a friendship or a rivalry, or something that moves from one to the other. I have some long-term plans for Liam, and having someone he has trained beside with whom he has a strong relationship (of any kind) will be important. I'd prefer male, but female could be made to work, too.

- An Accepted or Aes Sedai that isn't Black Ajah: Liam also needs a channeler who can help him get beyond his distaste of channelers and women. He doesn't trust his cousin, and again, an AS relationship that he can fall back on later will be essential to his storyline. A Yellow or Yellow aspirant would be great, but other than not being Black, I'm not picky.

Hi Heather, I may have the perfect two for you!

Vance is a Drin, recently returned from a pilgrimage of sorts. He is a genuine nice guy, dedicated and loyal. He is a little broken inside, but is repairing himself, and could use a good friend to talk to sometimes.

Tamora is a Green Aes Sedai who had just returned to the Tower. She is finding her place there. She is Bonded, so she wont be looking to claim him or any such thing, but she is quite approachable.

Well, we could have Vance and Liam assigned to the same task, and maybe Tam could be getting Liams help going through some stuff, boxes etc.

How's that sound, unless you gave a better idea? (as mine are lame.)

Tamora getting Liam to help lug around stuff sounds good. He'll find it sufficiently awful, especially since she's a Mayener It'll be interested to see how he and Vance react to one another. I'm not sure he's met many Borderlanders, certainly none of Malkieri descent, so it should be fun.

Guess I should warn you that, a lot of the time, I have no idea how things are going to go until I do them. Keeps my life interesting

Heather, no worries. I am the same, I can only plan so much before everything go way out of my control. Even down to characters falling for the wrong people, in the past. Bad voices in my head.

I can start a couple of threads if you like, unless you would like to. I'm quite easy all around.
