An Unexpected Assignment [open to anyone with combat background]

"You there!" said Oylsa Sedai, striding over to where Darthalien was applying cold compresses to the forehead of a Warder as another Yellow, Mithros Ashaman, was picking barbed arrow-heads out of her guts to make the moment of healing easier. It was a delicate balance; too much of this could wear down even a Gaidin's endurance, but basic extraction and cleaning the wounds would allow Mithros to heal the woman without expending too much power and risking his own health.
"Aes Sedai," Darthalien acknowledged.
"Blood and Ashes, hand me that magnet again," Mithros Ashaman cut in, and Darthalien handed it over.
"You're one of those as knows how to fight, aren't you?" asked Oylsa. "With or without the Power, I mean."
"Yes, Aes Sedai," Darthalien responded automatically. He was distracted, watching Mithros and the weaves he used -- small ones, here and there, to staunch bleeding or help draw out chunks of metal without parting any further flesh.
"We need you," Oyla Sedai said, and poked him in the shoulder with her cane, an attack which he brushed away with an absent gesture. "Far more than he does."
"Ashaman?" asked Darthalien.
"Just go with her," Mithros Ashaman responded. "I've never yet won one of these arguments, and she's right -- I can take it from here."
"Good," said Oylsa Sedai. "You come with me now. We'll need one or two more, if we can find them. You have any suggestions, you let me know."
OOC: Next post will explain the situation, but if you have a learning ranks character who has any inkling of how to fight -- Saidar, Saidin, melee, or missiles -- feel free to join this one. It's going to be an escort mission, with a bit of exploration, suspense, and unraveling schemes.
