Please don't be mad, but is this the chat box? I went to the "tower chatroom" but apparently that was not it :P

To get in to the chatroom, you would need to download a IRC Chat Client to your computer and connect to the chatroom through that. There are links and instructions in the Chatroom thread. :)

I've been really successful with icechat and not have had any bugs from it on 3 different computers. :)

http://colloquy.info/ is the way to go.

On a chromebook, I use CIRC. It is an IRC app specifically for chromebook.
