...and the last of the survivalists?
Avram has always been a man with a plan. After leaving Cairhien, he made the choice to come to the Grey over the White Tower because of the former's lack of scruples. That, and possibly because the Grey Tower lay a lot further from the city he had to abandon in a hurry. He may not have prospered playing the Great Game in the city of the Topless Towers, but in the Warder Yards he's been secretly gathering away information, with the aim of reaping the benefits one day.
Ten days with only the wind and rain as company gives one time to think. A lot of time. Puzzling back over his time at the Tower (and before) gives one perspective. Especially when they are also combating the stresses of simple survival. So when Avram returned to the Tower, alive if worse for wear, he returned with a goal in mind. Survival is not a way to live, after all. One needs to flourish.
I wish to congratulate Avram Nolaisen on passing the Survival Test, as well as to Jiggity as his writer! Now, let the games begin!
