Soldier Lexalon Davrina,
By order of the Grey Tower, you are to report to the Infirmary this afternoon after lunch. There, you will shadow Dedicated Caddoc Svan during his duties there for the remainder of the afternoon. You are expected to assist him in these duties, and to give aid when you are capable.
After lunch Caddoc, who had received his own missive, stood waiting near the Infirmary doors. He was somber and quiet. Like the Soldier, he had barely been given more than a few hours head’s up that he was to have a trainee today. This did not please him. The Dedicated preferred it when he was left to his own devices to take care of those patients they deigned to admit he was safe to handle. There were precious few of those, at the moment. Before he had left the Tower he had been making strides towards almost being left alone here. Since his return…that freedom had disappeared. Most didn’t remember him, and those that did seemed to think this was ample ‘punishment’. For the moment, Caddoc weathered this foul treatment in silence, taking what was offered, and making certain he did the job to perfection.
That was another reason he was not pleased to have a shadow today. In at least some of the simple cased this Lexalon Davrina would be expected to Heal, and his Talent would surely be less than Caddoc’s. The Soldier’s performance would reflect upon him, dragging him down with it. Near the end of the corridor Caddoc spotted the uniform of a soldier and stood a little taller, waiting to see if this was the one he was looking for.

Re: In the Infirmary (ATTN: Lex)
Lexalon had received the message with very little time to spare. He had nearly had to get to the room on time. As it was he had only made it with seconds to spare. Not good. While some Dedicated were pleasant other were downright horrible and being late to a lesson taught by the later was a very bad idea. They tended to be worse than those who had been raised full although why that happened was beyond Lexalon to figure out.
At command he opened the door and entered. He listened quietly to the Dedicated while he spoke. It was quickly apparent that the Dedicated did not know that he had already had a basic Healing lesson with another Dedicated. Even so he did not tell the Dedicated. All he said was "I will be fine Sir." And gave a salute. Hand pressed to heart.
He had only met the mam a few moments again but he already didn't like him. His cold bluntness and his overbearing talk had set Lexalon against him almost instantly. He just didn't like people like that. Despite it he knew he would have to at least ignore his dislike during the lesson lest he be given punishments for rudeness or disobedience. Neither punishments were ever light and he had no inclination to go through them. After all there was no point im being punished for stupid things. Pranks and tricks were on thing and often worth the punishment but this was a complete different thing.
Even as he looked at the Dedicated he found his eyes startlingly green, like his own. He nearly shivered but supressed the urge. He wasn't going to let this man know he had gotten under his skin. He knew that attitude was foolish but he pushed the thought away and ignored it. He didn't really care if hr was honest with himself. He was here to learn to Heal and that was that. There was nothing more too it and nothing less. Nothing else matter right now except getting through this lesson and learning what he could. If nothing else it would be good practise for what he already knew.
