Hi, so...I have a soldier who I'm going to get to have Latent Talent points for Aligning the Matrix, but...I can't find any archived classes for it. And, I really don't have any idea how to do it. I know I can figure it out through the good ol' internet, but I thought I'd see if anyone had any more concrete ideas on how to do that first.

I remember reading this a while back. It's the only time I've ever seen this Talent mentioned here at the Grey Tower. Otherwise, I think the only other reference would be the books and the making of Perrin's hammer.

I understand. I'm slammed too, but my muse is just taking me all over the place.

But, I think Jhanic's OPB class should be wrapping up soon, and after that, I want to get him on track.

I'm also thinking that since Aligning the Matrix is currently "lost to the ages," at least from what I can gather, the NPC would just be there to supervise and make sure that he doesn't kill himself.

If not, I'll just go with what happens.

What if he wasn't supervised, and simply exploring on his own? We've had a few Talents discovered that way, and you don't actually have to "learn" anything about a Talent in order to earn Latent, only discover that you have it, and that you have a certain personal knack for it. (otherwise, what would be the point in having only 1-2 points in it?) Then after you've passed the reqs, he could spend more time learning about it and finding new ways to use it?
Also, you might try talking to Rydian once he makes his character, as he has some ideas regarding that Talent as well.

Well, he's a soldier at the moment. Although, it could just be my personal want to stick to the rules, I guess he could sneak off and figure it out. xD
