The Grey Tower

Okay, I'm going to need help from the people that I have already signed up for this plot to help me out a bit. Let's plot out the Aes Sedai coming from the White Tower to visit with Leala, so I'm not playing the whole bunch of NPCs. We've already got Rossanda Sedai from the Red Ajah. I'll play her. I think if there are four or five others with her, that would make a good group for the plot. Since this is Elaida's group, they can be from any canonical Ajah except for the Blues.

(No, I still haven't decided what they're visiting for. I am giving it a lot of thought, though.)

For the record, there is a Blue Ajah at our White Tower. Timelines are screwy, but I'm like...98.6% certain it's there.

Oh. Hm. There is still so much information here in so many places. Any idea where I can read about that?

I don't think there is an official place yet. We (admin) are working on making a coherent page, though.

I lied. The Blue Ajah is, indeed, missing from the White Tower.

Here is what was agreed, and since I was asked to make a page, I'm assuming it's okay to publish it:

- Nation lines are as they were at the end of book 4 (to maintain diversity and fun)
- Major events are as they were at the end of book 9 (i.e. saidin cleansed, Salidar 'exists', Black Tower exists, White Tower is having problems)
- Supernatural objects (such as ter'angreal) are in their original locations and available for use if plots allow
- It's been roughly 200 years since the GT was formed (based on currently existing PC ages), and about 150 since saidin was cleansed, give or take.
- We don't have a Dragon Reborn, or if we do, he doesn't play a big part in our story
- We're probably a mirror world to the series, which is why our timelines are wonky

Other things that didn't happen in that discussion but have generally been accepted:
- Tarmon Gai'don has not happened and probably will not
- The Forsaken exist, yes you can mention them by name
- Nations are ruled by NPCs, not the characters mentioned in canon. No, we do not have a stable list of NPCs.


We are aware that some of these details don't necessarily jive with some character bios (and/or past MRPs), and we're not too concerned (edit to add- to clarify: not intending to be disrespectful to past storylines; this is simply an attempt to be as welcoming and interesting as possible). I know of at least one character who is a hundred and fifty years older than Jaryd who came from post-Seanchan Ebou Dar, while Jaryd himself is only 50 ish and Ebou Dar is still very much intact.

I believe I raised my hand at some point in your other Wanted thread, and my offer still stands!

I am happy to play an NPC Aes Sedai from any Ajah. I'd also be happy to play the Warder of any of the ladies coming over. Whatever you need!

My PSC Seira has a...connection to a White Tower Aes Sedai. I haven't fleshed out the NPC yet but can do so on the fly, lol. I'm willing to offer her up.

My WT NPC offer still stands, except... her bio was that she was Blue? I can probably rework it to another Ajah, but let me know if you need her to come out and play.

Okay, so proposed plot for this:

The Aes Sedai from the White Tower are coming to warn Leala of Children of the Light scouting her lands as well as the Grey Tower. Their eyes-and-ears have heard that they are likely to attack. They offer to help Leala if she comes to the White Tower. (Of course, she will refuse.) I'm thinking we'll need NPCs for the Grey and White Ajahs from the White Tower, at the very least.

If you need more WT Aes Sedai, I can throw one into the mix. Also, since Mehrin has ties to the Tower, he might be able to provide information on some of the visiting Aes Sedai.

... or I can just write the WT AS as Mehrin's former bondmate and have him cower in a corner during the entire visit.
