Trouble in the Yards.

Daelar walked dejectedly from the training yard, with his whip coiled on his belt. The only people in the yards other than himself were a warder practicing his forms, and his Aes Sedai watching him.
He wasn't looking where he was going, and walked straight into a group of warders in training.
"Ha, someone new! Looks like he wants to learn how to fight! Lets teach him, boys!"
They circled around, leering, fists up to fight. Daelar backed away, one hand raised to protect himself, the other reaching for his whip. One of them came in and swung a hook punch at his face. Daelar reflexively blocked. The rest moved in, punching and kicking. Daelar tried to block, but was knocked backward by a kick. He managed to get his whip out, and struck at the leader.
No longer smiling, the guy Daelar had struck went and picked a practice sword off the rack. "Well, boys, it seems he wants to play."
The rest picked assorted practice weapons, stalking closer. Daelar couldn't get his whip past their guards. Suddenly the Power surged into him, flowing into his whip. The whip flicked out and wrapped around the leader's wrist. Nobody could believe it. The warder and the Aes Sedai both watched. An Asha-Man walking out of the tower. Dropped his sword. Flying like a tossed pebble, five feet off the ground, was the boy.
