The maiden, novice, was confusing. Women weren't suppose to be confusing. At least not confusing like this. "Change your wha?..." He scratched his head very confused. Apprentely she would think and do whatever she wanted, which was fine, but he didn't understand how changing her mind had anything to do with panties.

Weighing his options, he wondered. Would it be easier to just toss her in a closet and lock it, or tie her up on a bed and let her at least be stuck somewhere comfortable, or just walk away and leave her alone.

Conor walked over her and scooped her up and threw the Novice over his shoulders. He had a mission to complete and the distraction didn't work! At least he could say he wasn't afraid of some wispish novice. "I think I need to put you somewhere safe. If you don't mind too terribly, lovely Maiden. This way you have an alibi." Yes, yes. This was a much better plan. Have her thinking he would lock her up in retaliation instead of just her cooperating. Good plan, Conor. Then she won't hate him!

He was pleased with his decision.

Oh, Light, Leala thought as she was tossed over the young man's shoulder. She really needed more practice talking to people who weren't training to be Aes Sedai and Asha'man. Maybe those girls who snuck out to the Yards had the right idea. She heaved a sigh. "Sir, I would rather you put me down, if you don't mind. I will leave you to your looting, and not have you chastised." She even managed to let out a chuckle, despite how frustrated she was. Perhaps it had developed into apathy.

Her father had always told her she needed to practice her people skills, but she had never thought she'd be toted off for some boy to avoid being punished.

Conor Palfrey Doin' things the hard way since 983NE "Oh. That won't be necessary, m'lady." Conor said noncommittally. Opening the door next to him to find another empty novice room. Closing it he sighed and continued to look for a closet. "Really, I am doing you a favor. You get to speak of your great fight and how you were over powered..." He paused at what he was suggesting and decided against it. If a story like that got out his head would be on a pike and Amayani would only be ever so gleeful in putting it there. "Or you could instead say you hid away from a shadow that had you frightened. Yes, that is a better story." He pranced his way down the hallway, coming across yet another door that looked like a closet. Opening it up he was happy to find one and held it open as he set her down just inside the door.

"Now, you were afraid and hid in here until someone could keep you safe. Only you accidentally locked yourself in. You didn't see who it was, or that it was me for certain. I'm sure someone will let you out." Eventually....

[Leala]

Once she was set down, Leala tried to summon all the training she had been given, and broke the rules again. She embraced Saidar, and wove a thread of Air, wrapping it around the doorknob, so that this young man couldn't lock her in the closet. She began to laugh, wholeheartedly, shaking her head. The laugh lasted as she walked out, shaking her head.

Leala wiped a tear away from her eye as she sobered up, letting go of the doorknob, and walking out of the room. "Light. I haven't laughed this hard in...no...I don't think I've ever laughed this hard in my life." She turned back to him. "I think it would be best for both of us, if we don't add kidnapping to your list of offenses, yes?"

Conor Palfrey See? there is that smile! Conor only shook his head at her, confusing woman was confusing. Instead of responding to the laugh he only held out his hand. "Panties?"

[Leala]

Leala sighed, wondering to herself for a moment what under the Light was going on in this boy's mind. "One moment, if you would," she said. With that, she marched out to the clothes line where they had met shortly before. She found her batch of undergarments and plucked two pair from their perch. She handed them to the young man.

"That's al the help you'll be getting out of me," she said with a smile.

Conor Palfrey and that counts as a completed RP Conor accepted the panties with a well practiced flourished bow. "Thank you, fair maiden. I do hope your day lightens as the hours pass." He stood up and gave her a smirk before heading on his way. "Forgive me, I have a mission to complete."

And with that he left the Novice Quarters with pockets full of panties.
