Lirievin Tesiva Liri watched Valadin with interest. She had gotten fairly use to the World of Dreams, but to see someone else experience if for one of their first times. She didn’t remember ever feeling like Valadin had, but she realized that her first experience must have been totally different. This only made her wonder more about the World of Dreams. She knew that this place was like it was, and only certain people could enter it. Some people did enter it for a moment before leaving again, and they would never realize that they had entered the World of Dreams.

Liri watched as Valadin went and touched a few things, this place gave you a whole new appreciation for your senses. Any object you touched suddenly seemed more real when you touched it, which was a strange sensation.

As Valadin turned back towards her, Liri sensed he had more questions so she tilted her head slightly, why she didn’t know, it was just something she had always done. Liri listened as he stumbled over his words. She thought maybe he felt nervous, but she couldn’t blame him after what had just happened.

Liri sighed, wishing she had a better answer. “Unfortunately I’m not really sure myself. I’ve not really seen maybe people here to really experiment too. For the most part I get a sense that the person is real but I’ve never had a chance when someone from my head came out here.”

“There are times, you may see someone flash into existence and then leave within a minute, and that is just someone in the real world who entered while they were sleeping. For the most part no on realized that they entered here, but just be cautious if that does happen. They won’t be able to control what they think here and sometimes they can create a lot of more chaos, more then we just experienced.”

Liri had been reading about what happened in the World of Dreams but information was had to come by and she had been so busy with studies and lessons that she didn’t get as many chances to read as she would have liked.

Liri looked around quickly checking sunlight but she forgot that you couldn’t tell time here. “We really should be getting back to the waking World. It seems like barely any time has passed here but we could have been here the whole night in the waking world.” She said gently. “It’s been a pleasure meeting you, and I do hope I was able to answer some of your questions. I’m always around if you have any more questions or if you want to practice anything I just told you about. I’m still learning myself but I will pass on whatever information I learn to you as well.” She finished with a sweet smile.

She paused before leaving, to see if Valadin had any further questions.

Accepted Lirievin’s warnings aroused Valadin’s suspicions even more. Questions burned at the back of his mind, but he held them seeing as the delicate looking girl appeared ready to be gone from the eerie Dream world. Although farewells had already been given, the Accepted paused a moment before taking her leave, her brow perusing Val’s face for any confusion. For his part, Val offered a quick nod and watched in awe as she vanished from the Dream like the morning mist clearing for the light of day.

Without Liri to share or explain the experience, the Library’s ever-changing state didn’t garner as much amazement as it had initially. Passing a hand gently over a worn leatherback book, Valadin sensed the novel’s existence strengthening at a mere thought. Though he’d seen many things this night, this spectacle still stirred excitement within him. If the Accepted’s words were to be taken literally then there was so much more of the Dream that he’d yet to see. Closing his eyes, the fields of tall grass flanking the Caemlyn Road came to his mind. Routs etched permanently into the earth from years of cart-passage made excellent play areas for the smaller children. Beside the bustling main road was the Four Kings.

Reality trembled with Valadin’s yearning, but with no real need to go to the place in his head, he remained fixed in the Tower library. A breath released him from the spell, but nostalgia burned fresh in his heart when he finally decided to leave the wonders of the Dream world. ‘I will have to ask Accepted Lirievin to take me here again; there’s still a lot I have t’see.’

Ridding himself of any distracting thoughts Valadin embraced the truth of the Dream being a false world. Around him the threads of the World of Dreams hooked themselves jealously into him, determined to keep him within its domain. Focusing a bit harder he felt the tension tighten until Val felt himself dangling between two realms. Eventually the warmth of true daylight shook him from his slumber. Dismayed that morning had come after what felt like only a few hours, he tried salvage what little time he had left for rest, but was thwarted when his room door burst open violently and one of the Dedicated waited patiently for him to rise with a stony expression.

So Valadin’s day began. Fatigue stabbed needles behind his eyes and the day’s tasks were thrice difficult, but the splendor of the Dream still haunted him and the excitement of meeting Liri again stayed sleep’s claim on him until later that evening.
OOC: I’ll take you up on that offer. I definitely thought it was good. Since I want Val to be a Dreamer anyway, I think Liri would be a wonderful resource and friend to get to know. If you ever feel the need to rp as well please know that I, too, am only a PM away.
