“Yes, that is a good suggestion,” Nyaine confirmed. “I have already asked the Mistress of Novices to arrange a couple of shifts in the infirmary for me. I imagine that should provide a good chance to get in touch with Yellow Ajah.”

She had rather mixed feelings about that, seeing how it would most likely require her to use the Delving weave and she didn't enjoy being reminded of that day and the emptiness. Yet it was the reasonable course of action and she couldn't afford to have inconvenient memory stand in the way of determining her future and she did actually look forward to maybe getting some of her questions answered or concerns allayed.

“I don't know what to do about the others yet, but I am certain opportunity will present itself, after all the Ajahs probably all can't wait to have me join them,” Nyaine smirked and then shrugged. “I am not too concerned about having doubts, to be honest... It is just one of the many things I need to learn more about, it seems.” She looked at Isla. “I apologize, I didn't mean to unload all of that on you. So... did you consider the other Ajahs before deciding on the Yellow?”

If Nyaine was going to be taking a few shifts in the infirmary, then she and Isla were likely to work together. She thought that might actually be pleasant, to have a familiar face around that wasn't also a teacher.

She smiled at the question, waving off the statement that came before it. "Please, it is quite alright. You don't need to apologize. This is a topic that is strongly on the mind of everyone of our rank. It's natural that we should talk about it." Besides, although she did not say as much, Isla would always feel that she owed something to this girl.

There were many reactions she could have had, or paths that she could have taken, when she woke up to find Isla as she was that one night...but the reaction and path had been just what Isla needed to get back to a better way of life, and starting healing herself.

"Not really," she admitted. "I mean, I did a little. I spent time thinking through them, but the Yellow just... It just felt right in my mind. I guess like what I've heard some of the Aes Sedai and Asha'man call a calling to it. Trying to think through being part of another just doesn't feel right."
