The Grey Tower

What else do you think we need?

It's up to you, Master Head Clerk! I think that in the future when I get my upcoming character rolling a bit, perhaps we could do some sort of big RP and think of some plots concerning the Tower's diplomatic relations with other nations.

For example, the Green Ajah does excursions once in a while to the Blight. The Red Ajah does some Dreadlord hunting. The Grey Ajah is also suppose to do quite a bit of traveling, which is actually a really appealing part of the Ajah. The "rest of the world" is a huge, messy playground and it'd be fun to romp around a little and see what trouble we can stir up.

So I was daydreaming yesterday and had some ideas about "Grey Traditions"

Don't know where this would go but just wanted to share.

I was thinking, and making this up, that whenever a new Asha'man or Aes Sedai chooses the Grey, then every Grey who is in the Tower at that time would give them a piece of advice about their culture, something the new Grey could use in their future mediations/law proceedings/counseling. For instance Taesh would give them a quick piece of advice on dealing with the Atha'an Miere. Kind of like a show of solidarity, desire to share amongst each other, and show the cultural trappings are truly left behind in the Grey because we are working to bring everyone together.

Also, and don't ask me why, I think that the Greys would collect different kinds of drinking cups, like tea cups, wine glasses, etc. Like every time a Grey leaves to oversee some mediation, they collect some sort of cup from that place. And then, if someone comes to the Tower for assistance from a Grey, then they are offered something to drink from a cup from their homeland.

Just some thoughts I had.
