As Coga and Riahana were walking out of the halls they started towards the forges which had smoke coming from all of the many chimneys. Riahana explained that they had many blacksmiths that worked the forges and were sure to have someone who would be willing to talk to him about his dagger. As they approached the building they came upon a man swinging a hammer on a yellow hot piece of metal and realized that he had met him before. Coga walked up and said “Excuse me, you are Ubriel’s husband, right?” Coga grinned watching the expression on Zacharyn’s face.

Zacharyn had been asked by the forgemaster to handle a couple small piddly tasks around the forge, and was adjusting the tang-to-be on a small belt knife that had been requested by a novice earlier in the week. Hammering away at the metal on the anvil, Zacharyn was surprised when a familiar young face jumped up at him from seemingly nowhere. “Excuse me, you are Ubriel’s husband, right?”
"Coga?" Zacharyn asked. Turning away from the boy, Zacharyn pushed the hot metal into a nearby barrel of sand and turned to address the boy. "Yeah, I'm Ubriel's husband." Zacharyn laughed. "How did you and Cabe fare in your quest for the biggest pine cone in all of Cairhien? What brings you to the Tower?" Zacharyn asked. As he did so he noticed another face just a short distance behind Coga, wearing the patience of a teacher and the uniform of a gaidar. "Good morning to you, Gaidar. May I help you with anything?" Zacharyn bowed slightly to show proper respect.

The question that Coga asked of the blacksmith almost had Riahana doing a double-take. She hadn't realized the Mistress of Training had gotten married, and wonder when the event happened. She made a mental note to chat with Ubriel about this turn of events, and congratulate her when she next spoke with her.
Riahana offered the man a nod, "Good morning to you, Dedicated. If you would be so kind as to assist young Coga here with his dagger, I believe he and I would both appreciate it. I am giving the young man a tour of the Yards and resources available to him as a new Drin'far'ji."

"Well Gaidar, I would be more than happy to help." Zacharyn said with a smile. Looking to Coga, Zacharyn motioned him into the smithy. "What are you looking for in a dagger lad? They come in lots of shapes and sizes. Do you happen to know the style you like?" Taking in the look of astonishment on the boys face, Zacharyn couldn't help but smirk slightly at Coga's surprise. "Here, maybe this will help." Zacharyn had walked Coga around the smithy once and stopped back again at the anvil he had been working at. Taking up a piece of chalk, he handed it to Coga. "Why don't you draw the outline of the dagger you're after, and I'll tell you if I can do it or not." Pointing at the surface of the anvil for the young man to draw on.
Leaving Coga to his drawing, Zacharyn addressed Riahana. "I happened to meet Coga while Ubriel and I were in Cairhien for our wedding. Her mother had taken him a few other orphans in after the Aiel attacked, and Ubriel is fond of him. Do you think he's showing any potential?" Zacharyn addressed the Gaidar somewhat informally, but the concern for the boy showed on his face. He had grown fond of Coga himself in the short time he had been with him.

Ria offered the Dedicated a warm smile, "To be honest, I only just met Coga over breakfast. From what Ubriel tells me, though, it sounds as if he has ample potential. The Warder Yards are a great place to learn new skills, and he seems eager to prove himself." She looked over to Coga, and wondered if she were ever so young?
"Between the Mistress of Training and myself, I am sure young Coga will have more than enough guidance to see him through...though I dare say he may grow tired of both of us!"
((OOC: Sorry for the delay and the length. . .things have been a bit crazy for me lately!))

When Coga had walked up to Zacharyn he was surprised to see that he remember him. When Zacharyn was done saying hi he asked how the search for the biggest pinecone in the world was going and Coga replied with “it went well we would have won but one of the pieces fell off. So binky’s pinecone won”. Riahana then said that Coga had something to ask about his dagger. Once Zacharyn told him to draw a model of the dagger he wanted and went on to talk to Riahana, Coga went on and puled out his own dagger and placed it down with the chalk. When Riahana and Zacharyn finished talking again he tapped on Zacharyn’s shoulder and pointed to his dagger on top of the anvil and smiled saying ”Well this is MY dagger and I would like to know the value and things like what is it made of.”

Riahana stepped back to let the young Drin'far'ji speak with Zacharyn. The forge was someplace she did not spend a great deal of time, though she knew its value to the Tower and especially the Warder Yards. For many in the Tower and certainly for those of the Learning Ranks of the Yards, the Forge was often a place one might be sent to do various chores.
When Riahana was but a Drin', most of her chores seemed to center around the stables, and the archery range. Given the heat of the forge, she felt lucky she avoided spending a great deal of time doing chores there, especially during the heat of summer. She listened as Coga spoke with Zacharyn, but wandered over to one of the other smiths who offered her a small smile as he continued working on what would become a new sword. Given its simple design, she suspected it would wind up in the armor, under the watchful eye of the quarter master.

Roan left Coga and Zacharyn to talk and went to watch another black-smith. “ so i was wondering what it's made of and what the value of it would be?” Coga said to Zacharyn in a curious tone. he went on to listen to Zacharyn and went to Roan to continue on the toure. Once he got to Roan he said he was done and would like to go to the stables now and they left on there way to the stables.

Re: Egg Galore Breakfast(attn: roan)
As they walked towards the barn, Riahana looked to the young Drin'far'ji, "There is a chance that you may be given chores here in the barn. Some of our learning ranks don't like the chores here, since many of them revolve around cleaning out stalls. Personally, chores at the barn were my favorite, but then. . .I grew up around horses." She rested her hand on the hilt of her sword as they walked, and after a moment or two asked, "How about you, Coga? Do you have any experience around horses?"
