Re: The evolution of the Red Ajah
NO, I have every right to feel how i feel. I see the big picture even if I'm not articulating well about it. I admit that, but it doesn't mean how either of us feel are invalid. Siera is right, if you won't compromise or even willing to step towards me "Lets approach this later and see if it need it" compromise.. yes. The Admins can decide if its necessary when the time comes. That decision isn't yours alone. Period.
NOW, I'd like to have a moment without a continued pointed fingers of what I'm not able to do in this thread and read over and make a decision with a little more time.. because this push isn't sitting very well with me.

Re: The evolution of the Red Ajah
I am not the one being unreasonable. I'm asking for the entire site to have a voice. You are trying to silence it. There is no logic behind that desire, but there is logic behind mine.
This is not on me.

But how are we to come to a mutally acceptable idea when you keep deadlocking on matters that sre not just up to you?Marla wrote:Siera, you and Carra are the only ones outright opposing. As I already stated, I am not asking that it happen right now, I'm saying that once we have come to a mutually acceptable idea, we take it to the Hall for final approval. That is how the Hall has worked in regards to site changes, and how it needs to work again.
We literally *just* voted to bring the Hall back into things the way it used to. So what reason is there for not utilizing it?
I honestly would like a dicussion with all the Reds on this matter and one has yet to make an appearance.
You pushing this around is not just the Hall vote. My feathers were ruffled when you posted this thread. It would have been nice to a) have some warning or b) even a same dicussion/group PM with all the Reds so we all at least had an idea on what was going on instead of suddenly feeling attacked

That is ridiculous. Everyone has access to this thread and can share their opinion. Saying i'm silencing them is a little extreme.Marla wrote:I am not the one being unreasonable. And there is nothing in here that is official to make a decision 'now' that it 'needs' to be in there when accessibility to this conversation is completely open.
Although, not likely now given the length of this disagreement. People are going to avoid this like the plague until it changes direction.

Re: The evolution of the Red Ajah
I'm going to jump in, but I'm not a red, so just let me know if you would like me to leave the conversation. I'm thinking really seriously about my second character becoming a red, so I'm really interested in what happens with red, and would like to be able to see discussions about it. That said, I also completely understand your desire to talk it over with those currently in the ajah. Would it be possible then to have a red only thread about these issues, but one that everyone else can still read? I also think it is important to have a hall vote, but certainly only after the red ajah has discussed the issue and come up with a solution, and then the vote can be on that solution. That way, it's just a formality so everyone else on GT can ask questions and give some input.
Re: The evolution of the Red Ajah
Your ppst made me want to touch on this... i am not sure if i came across this way or not but i am not opposed to others being involved in this discussion, especially those with an interest in Red. But i do believe that every Ted needs to have their input and mot have one overpowering though from anyone (in case it seems like it this was not dorected at you Marla. I would have said this regardless of who was in the discussion)

Re: The evolution of the Red Ajah
Wanted to jump in and let everyone know that Bella, Marit and I are discussing things and reviewing the thread. I also think that all Reds should be encouraged to keep the discussion going so long as it is productive. If not, take a break and let things breathe as you guys appear to be doing now.
On the bright side, you guys have an Ajah with members very passionate about it, that's something good to keep in mind.
