It was odd to be watching young children. Suu never thought that the Grey Tower would have a nursery of all things, let alone need to watch children for a part of her day as a chore. It was getting close to nap time now, and the chore block almost done, but there were some things left to do.
Diapers, Bottles, Blankets, swaddling...
This was her first time here to help, and she wasn't sure what to do. "Excuse me," She asked someone shyly, quietly. "Where do I find swaddling blankets that are clean?"

Celene
Celene leant over a cradle, trying to soothe a toddler who had had too much excitement to sleep. she cooed and soothed, rocked and hugged, until finally the child was so exhausted from her tantrem she fell asleep. The other children were getting a little sleepy too as one was crying in the corner of the nursery because another boy had stolen their toy. celene walked gracefully over to the pair, extracting the toy from the chubby fingers of the other child, eliciting a wail from the latter and a giggle from the first.
She sighed and took the two children in her arms, sootheing the other and playing with the first. Though it was not evident on her face, the smooth mask of calm radiating from it, she was getting slightly impatient with the task of taking care of so many children. It had come to her attention that a lot of children were not being taken care of around the tower, either by carless Novices and Accepted, or by plain carelessness by some of the newer Mothers. Naturally, celene was chosen to watch over the nursery, despite the fact she was back in the yellow Infimrary after her stent in the offices of the Mistress of Novices, though that had been a bit ago.
"excuse me,' The voice startled the Aes Sedai out of her thoughts, and she saw with relief that the two boys were asleep in her lap. she extracted herself from the chubby arms and stood. Not much taller than one of the adolescent girls who she often asked for help, she stood at a five foot three. Her hair, which was still as black as when she had come to the tower, hung in waves down to her hips, her green eyes still alight with life and kindness. "do you know where I can find some swaddling blankets that are clean?"
Celene blinked for a moment, the recognized the new Novice. "Of course,' she said, her voice low and kind, "I can show you if you would prefer."
For some reason, people did not like when celene treated the novices like adults. It was her preference to only call the girls 'child" when they had either done something wrong or had been disrespectful, though for the sake of formality, she would most likely call this one child sooner or later.
"Come," she said, leading the girl over to a cupboard that stood against the wall. by this time, the babies were asleep, and the older children were sleeping on the floor beside the cradles. seffonia, celene's sixteen-year-old daughter came to stand beside her and watch as her other instructed the newer Novice.
She looked like the exact duplicate of her mother, although her skin tone was different, and the eyes were a lighter green. Her hair was black as midnight though, and her face was a bit more angular than her Mother's, suggesting that the man she had slept with had these featues. she was also a little taller than her mother. standing at five foot five or there abouts. she smiled down at the Novice, then walked slowly around the room, inspecting the children's clothing and making sure the toys were put up in their proper places.
celene had smiled at Seffonia, though it was only a slight turning up of her lips that signaled she had noticed her daughter. She was deep in thought and her expression was almost barely there. She looked over to the Novice.
"Oh, the swaddling blankets. There are some in here if you wish. Though, I do not know if you'd need them now as most of the children..." at that moment a piercing shriek signaled that Elisabeta, a newborn about two months old was crying for her diaper change. It was surprising that the children did not wake up, or, if they did, they went right back to sleep.
"I see," said the Aes sedai conversationally as the shrieking wail continued, "well, here they are." She opened the cupboard and pointed, still smiling absently as she watched as seffonia carried the screaming infant over to a wooden changing table.
OOC I know there may be inaccuracies as to heights and features of Celene/seffonia, but I've not written in a bit... and ... well bare with me, it's along post.

The wail caught Suu off guard, unfamiliar with being around children as she was an only child herself. She jumped and looked almost frightful of the tiny being with lungs like Suu had never heard before. Light, were they always this loud?
"Thank you Aes Sedai." She said with a curtsy and accepted the swaddling blankets. Suu returned to the wailing infant and while the diaper change was becoming easier, she just couldn't get the darn blanket wrapped tight enough for the little 2 month old to not escape. Light, who knew babies were so strong!!
"Aes Sedai!" The frantic whisper in her voice was barely heard over the infant, but Suu dared not risk adding to the volume and wake any others. "I.. I can't get this...!"

Celene
Celene went over to help, her fingers gently wrapping around the screaming two month old as if she were nothing. Pulling the child gently against her, she began to sing in a soft, rich tone that soon put the child to sleep.
"It's all right, child," she said to suu, smiling softly as she placed the infant in its cradle, "she'll sleep for a good two hours. She's just been fed, yes?"
Celene smiled and walks around the nursery, gently touching children's blankets and wrapping them more securely around the little one's as they snoozed.
as she came back over to where Suu was standing, she took her hand gently and directed her to a more quiet and private part of the nursery.
"How long have you been alone at this, child?" she asked, a slight mother softlyness in her tone.
"It's all right, child," she said to suu, smiling softly as she placed the infant in its cradle, "she'll sleep for a good two hours. She's just been fed, yes?"
