Welcome Novice Nyaine!
Our newest novice hails from Cairhien, where she was being raised up to be a proper lady before an Aes Sedai discovered she could channel and swept her off to the Grey Tower. Please welcome Nyaine Lintelle, and her writer Daniel!

Re: Welcome Novice Nyaine!
Hello, hello,
Since I’ve been encouraged to introduce myself – and it seems rather appropriate to do so – here is the self-introduction:
Daniel (please don’t abbreviate) is my real name, on the internet I go by Ascarion at times which, I guess, you should just ignore. I currently study naval architecture with an utterly boring student job as IT support in a hospital. Unsurprisingly I like sailing and row once or twice every week, helping at my old high school’s rowing club. The most exciting thing in my non-internet life right now is the archery course I’m taking. Lastly, I should probably say that I am German, living in Berlin, and thus not a native English speaker.
I’ve done mostly chat (IRC) RP for somewhere around 16 years now, playing a number of Starfleet officers. Forum role play has so far not been my favourite, given the comparative awkwardness of interaction with other players as opposed to the chat, but I’ve wanted to do Wheel of Time RP ever since I first read the books six or seven years ago. So here is my attempt at doing just that. My character, Nyaine Lintelle, is so far intentionally very bland and unexciting with me not really having much of an idea yet of what to expect, where to start or where to go. But I figure the most exciting times of her life are yet to come anyway.
Let me conclude in saying that I’m looking forward to role play with you.

Hopefully, we can help break down the awkwardness.
We have a Discord server if you wish to come and join us for a chat. It's a bit quiet until the North Americans wake up, but there's a few Europeans here as well.

Welcome to the Tower, Daniel!
I got my RP start in the world of IRC Star Trek RP too, then moved to pbem before Bella lured me here to the Tower.
If you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask.

Welcome to the Tower Daniel! I myself migrated here while trying to find a Fate hack for WOT roleplay. And been hooked since.
