People Wanted -- Trouble in Tear

There is trouble in Tear. Although the common folk of the country think they have little to do with the highest echelons, discontent and in-fighting amongst the High Lords has brought the nation to a standstill. Treaties on trade between Tear and its major partners have run out without renewal or renegotiation. Loans have come due, and arrears are stacking up amongst the labouring classes as even lesser noble houses await payment from on high.

It is for the good not just of Tear, but for its neighbours as well, that this situation is sorted out quickly. Thus an envoy is being sent to the city in order to help the council decide on who it's new 'principal' High Lord or Lady should be. Whilst Tear may be one of the least hospitable places for channellers, it's hard to ignore several Aes Sedai, Asha'man, and Gaidin when they Gateway onto your front lawn. Also, reports have reached Hama Valon that the White Tower has already sent their own mission to Tear, and it is only right that we arrive first to prevent any machinations from those other Aes Sedai.

This is basically an open invitation for people to come and join the expedition to Tear. Full ranks are obviously welcome, and mid-ranks can probably finagle a decent reason to come along for the ride. The particulars of any threads in Tear has not been decided upon, for it would very much be based on who is coming along. You can bet that Elia and Murdock will be up to no good as Blacks, but there's room for others to come and show off their Ajah's skills. Or just to cause trouble in Tear; whatever works.
