"It is certainly possible for a Blue to change their cause," Nykk replied easily. "Some do not necessarily choose one specific cause to champion, but face each injustice as they see it; they follow the path that is the strongest to them at the time."

Liaran

Liaran nodded silently, pleased to know that a Blue could spend her life on different causes, something that she found rather appealing. She still wasn't sure if the pursuit of justice interested her, but she suspected there would be quite a few years before her to consider it furtherbefore she had to make any decisions. That knowledge helped her to decide that the Blue was a good possibility for her, one that would remain on her short list while she continued to investigate the Ajahs and seek her own possible place among them.

The Accepted flicked a stray curl from her face and smiled at the Aes Sedai. "Thank you for answering my questions, Aes Sedai, you've been very helpful," she said."I must leave the library now, though, if I want to reach my classroom before any of the students," This was something Liaran very much wanted with the novice class that was next on her class schedule, a group of girls who unfortunately often seemed to have more ability with the Power than sense in using it. Removing her book from the table, the Accepted curtsied and waited for permission to leave. Perhaps if I get there early enough, I'll be able to read a little.

Nykkolaia inclined her head. "I was glad I could help. The Blue has always had a strong place here in the Tower, and it's good that you are considering it, even if you do not choose it in the end. We all follow our own paths, after all, wherever they may lead us." She rose as well, since she had some business to attend to soon.

"Best to not be late to class, so on with you," she said, gesturing towards the library exit. With uncustomary politeness, she said, "Good luck with your choice."
