She chuckled as well, imagining him cooped up in the kitchens chopping carrots. The vision was even funnier when she thought of him being stuck in a kichen like the one at her home, with him slumping over, shoulders nearly brushing the ceiling. They really had no need for tall ceilings in her home. "Well," she said. "If that happens, at least you can help us little ones get things from the top shelves, or catch anyone misfortunate enough to take a fall from a tall tree." She took a sip of tea, considering his question. "I haven't really thought of what Ajah I want to be in. But I do, regardless of my place, want a Warder. Not a lover, per say, but if it did come to that I wouldn't complain, but a very close friend who I can trust with my life, if I need to." She paused. "However, I've been looking into the Green Ajah. Battle weaves interest me a good deal, and I'm rather strong in fire and air. That lends for some cool opportunities."

"I'd not given much thought to the romantic side of a bond. But I suppose there must be many Warders and Sisters who end up lovers. And with the Battle Weaves I would say Green is a likely destination for you. Luckily I would imagine many Gaidin end up paired with Green Sisters," Danos said as he fell silent for a moment.
"I guess that's why they are so hard on Drin and Novices who appear too close, once we've all completed our tests, then we can begin to know each other as more than just fellow students," he said thoughtful as he remembered the fear he had felt when Dedicated Murdock had discovered him and Elia in the Gardens.

"I guess," she paused. "It depends on how you would descibe love, too. Its all very complicated. I don't like being tangled in it, frankly." She finished off the rest of her tea, then put the mug on the nightstand. "Okay then, I'm going to try to stand. Catch me if I fall." She slid off the bed, her legs nearly giving away under her feet. She had to steady herself on the bed to catch her balance. "Well, this was a mistake." She was still very, very weak it seemed.

Danos
Danos held Avyra's shoulders as she got off the bed, and he could feel she was weak and wobbly as she sat back on the bed.
Presenting her his back he smiled and said,"Your chariot awaits, hop on and I will get you to the Novice Quarters."
Laughing when she hopped on Danos took her towards her quarters, chewing his lip as he thought on what she had said, "It does get complicated with all the ranks, titles and layers of rules. Although even a village as small as mine had girls you knew better than to dance with as an apprentice. I got my ears boxed a few times with the merchants niece," he said chuckling as he remembered the summer spent with her, before the burns had seared his skin.

Avyra didn't necessarily like being carried, but seeing as she had little choice, and given Danos' polite offer, she couldn't refuse, crawling onto his back, wrapping her arms around his neck. If she felt small on the ground next to him she surely felt tiny now, high off the ground like she was. She rested her head on his left shoulder as he walked, telling her about his home. "It is, generally, the same way in Cairhein. I didn't get out much, though. I don't know how to dance. Imagine that!" She paused, looking around. "So this is how it feels to be this tall? I don't like it. I feel like I'm gonna hit my head on everything. But I suppose that's better than feeling like I'm gonna get stepped on by one of you giants."

Danos
Danos laughed and ducked under a lower hanging branch to make sure Avyra wasn't struck by the leaves.
"I can't imagine our dances were much like the ones in Cairhein, but I am surprised you can make music, but not dance. But with me on the dance floor, we kept it simple and lots of room between us and the other pairings," said Danos as he paused.
"Which way to your room? Should we call another novice?" asked Danos as he reached the entrance to the Novices Quarters.

She was, indeed, hit by a few leaves. "Yeah, probably." She paused. "I never really felt the need to dance. Besides, in Cairhien everyone is very intimate in their dancing. I never met anyone who I would have considered dating or marrying, so I never saught a dance. I suppose I might end up getting a little scorn here for that." Avyra hopped down, grabbing his arm to steady herself as she craned her head to look at him. "I think I can make it from here. Probably. I'm not sure if you're allowed in there but I doubt Mirin Sedai will be pleased to find a Drin wandering the Novice halls." She paused, rolling her eyes. "It seems we can't even be friends around here." Avyra paused, then leaned up on her toes to give him a big, or big to her definition, hug. She barely reached his ribs. "Thanks for trying, at least. It worked for a bit," she mumbled into his side.

Danos
Danos returned Avyra's hug, mindful that her ribs might still be tender.
"Oh well, we're friends. Just friends that meet at their Nan's house, so a little extra polish on the manners. And don't give up, try with a Gaidar, or a weapon like staff. That would help you reach here," said Danos, tapping his chin with a fist.

Danos made a quip about her height, and she huffed, pulling back a bit so she could actually see him. "Ha ha ha ha ha ha," she laughed back, dry with sarcasm. "You're funny, aren't you?" She then, to prove him wrong, tried to reach his chin. It didn't work, not without her jumping, and she huffed, giving him a light punch on the forearm. "Fine, you win. This time. Next time, maybe you won't be so lucky." She seemed to be struggling to keep a straight face, a grin forming on her lips. "Breaking my ribs. I'll get you back, mark my words."

Danos
Danos laughed and backed up, hands held in front of him in mock terror.
"When you do get your revenge, do it on my Armoury chore day, sometimes I feel I will go mad looking at another dull blade," Danos said as he turned to head to his own room.
"I'll look for you in the Mess Hall, good night Avyra," he waved.
