Amaranie Tice
The Vaults were one of Amaranie's favorite places in the Tower, though the Accepted had not always felt that way. At first, all the unknown objects contained within made her nervous, but the more time she spent working among them, the more comfortable she became. Now, as she walked through halls and passed various storerooms, the space seemed familiar, as if she were there to visit an old friend. The Accepted barely had to look at the doors she passed in order to get to her destination. She turned one corner, then another, finally arriving in a part of the Vaults that held a number of small workrooms.
Opening the door to the room she most often used, where today's lesson would take place, Amaranie studied the room. There was not much in it, other than a small desk and a couple of chairs. She moved towards the desk, but stood beside it instead of taking a chair. She studied the desk, thinking of all the time she had spent working there. Overall, she was learning, but she had had far more failures than successes. Her Indigo teachers all insisted that was normal, but sometimes, Amaranie struggled to believe them. She wanted to learn, to understand her strange Talent for creating objects that used the One Power and make it do as she wished, and that was why she'd scheduled today's lesson. Still standing, she redirected her gaze from the desk and towards the door, awaiting the arrival of her teacher.
