Kylin listened intently as the Asha’man replied to his question. He supposed it made sense. He nodded once to signal his understanding before beginning the new ward which he had just been shown. It was no more difficult than the previous two wards he had been shown but it was larger and so forced him to draw more of Saidin that before.
Even as he wove the ward he realised that this was probably the most of the power he had handled so far. In fairness he hadn’t been here long and so still didn’t know what he could achieve. In all his classes where he had been required to channel it had been small amounts, focused on control. This was the first time he had been required to make a weave of this scale.
Even though he had seen weaves like this a couple of times it still took him a long time to create the weave. The spiderweb of Air in particular took him a long one and he felt his weaving slow down while he focused on it.
Eventually he finished the weave. He then asked another question that he came to him. He usually found that the more he knew about a subject the more questions he had on it and warding was proving to be no exception.
“Asha’man, you have spoken about many different types of wards. Is it possible to create wards which do multiple things. And if so is it practical to do so or is it easier to just make two wards?” He asked.
