He was tired and the blood loss was making him a bit slower, but after a few more moments, his thoughts all caught up together.
"We should be gone from this place," he finally determined aloud. "We should get to the stables and get our horses before they know we're alive and awake. I don't know if they'll try to hide them but they're probably still where we left them since no one realizes the plan didn't work. We'll leave, but we'll come back later. With reinforcements. We won't let him get away with this."
He touched her cheek and kissed her softly. "I promise, we'll make sure he can't come at me or us again. Just not right now."

Liaran Sedai
Liaran nodded. "Not now," she agreed. "But soon." Looking into Haeden's eyes, she knew leaving was the right thing to do, but the Aes Sedai still had every intention of holding Hiron accountable for what he'd done to her Warder tonight. She let her hand slide off of Haeden's shoulder and tried to get to her feet. Her head still hurt, and moving made her feel dizzy. She grabbed Haeden's arm to steady herself with a murmured apology. Once she'd found her balance again, Liaran walked slowly across the room to gather her things. She pulled on the same riding dress she'd worn earlier in the day, then lowered herself to the floor to put on her boots.
She stood slowly, putting away the few items she'd had out. She never traveled with much, so it took very little time before she was ready to leave. With her bag in one hand, Liaran moved towards the door with small, careful steps, leaning against the wall once she got there. Once Haeden joined her, she smiled up at him. "Let's go home," she said.
