Re: Official Shara Thread

Sooo yeah, I haven't been around much the past week...

Sorry to everyone who I've kept waiting, but I've been sick for most of the week and that, combined with an unprecedented peak in my studies, has kept me from writing. I'm working on catching up now, should be done soon!

Re: Lost in my Ways (Attn: Craig/Elia)

Elia's touch felt warm, and strangely comforting. Cayden usually avoided other people, and he didn't appreciate people touching him for no reason, but this was different. He always felt awkward when people touched him, and he never knew what to make of it. He never could tell if they were being ...

Re: Lost in my Ways (Attn: Craig/Elia)

Parts of what Elia was explaining sounded like total gibberish, but Cayden nodded and smiled like he understood. What in the Light was saidin or saidar ? Still, he understood the principle of it. He understood that Elia apparently had a more natural ability with channeling than most. Surprisingly ...

Re: Lost in my Ways (Attn: Craig/Elia)

Although he wasn't ashamed of it, Cayden still felt somewhat relieved that she didn't seem to recognize his last name, especially with an Andoran father. Elia didn't look like a noblewoman -she looked far too honest for that- and commoners usually had some preconceptions about nobles, whether it was ...

Re: Cayden's Enlistment Interview (Attn: Craig)

Cayden followed the Master of Training away from the armory, into a new building. Cayden was still busy trying to process everything he had seen in the last couple of hours. All those different weapons, that armor, and all the information that came with it had his head spinning. He was still trying ...

Re: Lost in my Ways (Attn: Craig/Elia)

To his surprise, he noticed he wasn't doing as horrible a job as he had expected. In all fairness, the task wasn't particularly hard either, but he'd never done anything like it before, and Elia sounded approving. It wasn't as bad as he had expected either. Back home, he had always seen cleaning as ...

Re: Lost in my Ways (Attn: Craig/Elia)

The first thing Cayden noticed as the Novice answered him was her kindness, despite the snarky answer. While not exactly unpleasant, it made him wary nonetheless. Why would she be kind to him? They didn't know each other. But he could be wary and polite at the same time, and besides, even fake ...

Re: Cayden's Enlistment Interview (Attn: Craig)

That answer excited Cayden. There were so many weapons to choose from... He knew he wouldn't be able to master them all, but knowing more than just his sword couldn't hurt. He had already spotted some that he couldn't wait to try out, like the two balls tied together by a chain. The havoc a trained ...
